This week, the critically-acclaimed Seabury football team made a return for the better, making a seemingly hopeless rescue mission a possibility.

When Seabury theater director Doug Weaver got stuck in a tree outside of the school, the team came to the scene immediately. “Doug Weaver Doug Weaver Doug Weaver” says defensive tackle and scientist Jonah Kim.

“I cannot believe Doug Weaver got stuck in a tree outside of school!” says quarterback, punter, running back, long snapper, kickoff specialist, strong safety and fan Minkyu Jung.

Earlier in the year, faculty member Ron Young was also trapped in a tree in the Seabury parking lot. “I wish we were around when that happened,” says offensive linebacker Oliver “Mikey Insanity” Coles. “ ,” he says.

As well, the football team extinguished a fire inside the Seabury bleachers after an anonymous innocent child got lost under them. “I cannot believe that an unknown child got lost under the Seabury bleachers and accidentally started a fire!” Jung says with a football in hand.

Even though football can be scary, the team saved some people.
