Ready for the second semester of his first year at Bishop Seabury is sixth grader Kingston McCall!
Remembering back to his first day at the school, McCall says: “I was nervous, but I was also excited because I felt like Seabury was just so awesome.” Five months later, his attitude remains relatively the same: “I think [Seabury is] pretty awesome. I’d definitely want to stay here till I graduate … [I like] how everyone is supportive of each other and … how the teachers let you really feel like you can talk to them.”
While any workplace would be more than lucky to have him, McCall says, “I really like math. I want to work for NASA when I grow up … [Because] NASA is just so awesome … It’s a career I know I could use math a lot in … It just sounds really cool to be on the forefront of technology and science.”
Besides NASA, McCall has plans to travel the world. “I really want to go to a different country. That sounds pretty awesome … I think either Japan or England … Japan just has cats and sushi and a ton of technology and just sounds like somewhere pretty awesome … [I want to travel to] England because I’ve always just thought that British concepts, like drinking tea and [eating] meat pies, just sound pretty fascinating.”
Kingston can be found kickin’ it in Dr. Asher’s room with her guinea pigs. No matter where you find him, we’re glad he’s here.
