This year, Bishop Seabury welcomed another member of the Rinnert clan. Megan Rinnert is in sixth grade, and her advisor is Ms. Sullivan. She joined her brother, junior Gabe Rinnert, who has attended Seabury for five years.
Megan Rinnert has multiple interests that she plans to explore at Seabury: “I play volleyball and tennis.” She is drawn to volleyball because it is “a really fast paced sport and [is] high intensity.”
Megan Rinnert’s brother, Gabe Rinnert, says, “She will do well in middle school tennis.” In addition to the sports Megan Rinnert plays, she “really like[s] to color.” Megan Rinnert mentioned that she is very passionate about “the sports [she] plays [and] once [she is] passionate about something, [she will] be passionate about that for a very long time.” Megan Rinnert’s brother says that “she goes out of her way to be passionate about the things that she does,” and she has a “crazy amount of commitment.”
Megan Rinnert’s favorite subject is Histography. She likes this subject because “you can learn about… history, but also the geography of the history.” This class is taught by faculty member Dr. Sara Asher. Megan Rinnert is very passionate about her “grades…and doing the extra stuff.” Gabe Rinnert hesitantly says, “I would say she wants to have good grades.”
Megan Rinnert wants everyone at Seabury to know that “[she is] a really kind person…that likes to make friends.” She says, “I can be… really energetic sometimes,” describing her personality. Megan Rinnert’s brother says, “She is able to fit in very quickly and [was] able to adjust well when going to a new school,” which was to her advantage when beginning at Seabury this year. He also says that “she constantly wants to be with her friends. She is very close with them.” Megan Rinnert is “a really fun person” which draws people to her.
Rinnert had previously attended Quail Run Elementary, like her brother Gabe Rinnert. She chose to come to Seabury for the same reason―because “all of [her] family has gone here.” Rinnert likes Seabury because “there’s a lot of breaks and classes.” Gabe Rinnert says seeing his sister at Seabury is “kind of surreal” and it is “weird to see her in the hallways.”
We are so excited to get to know her better!
