High school cross country had a meet on Thursday at Wellsville. Freshman Oona Nelson won the girls race with a personal record of 20:00, beating her past record by 40 seconds, and senior Sabrina Eicher medaled at 19th place. The girl’s team took 5th place overall. For the boys, sophomore Diego Klish ran a personal record at 19:19 and medaled at 12th palace. Sophomore manager Gobind Singh and Jonah Kim also ran their first races ever. The team’s next meet is on Tuesday at Tonganoxie.
