This weekend, the Debate squad went to Washburn Rural High School, to compete in the season’s first tournament. The team as a whole did great, with everyone achieving a winning record. Juniors Morgan Orozco and Lyle Griggs broke into the elimination rounds in the open division, beating out more than 55 teams to get into the top 8. Griggs also achieved the 2nd best speaker in the tournament, beating out more than 110 speakers. Congratulations everyone!
