On Monday, the varsity boys soccer team defeated Atchison High School six to two after a match more contentious than the final score suggests. Early on, the team was down two to one but managed to fight to a tie by the half, after which the team took control and came away with a decisive victory. Freshman Beck Oldridge scored two goals, senior Sam Bayliss scored three, and junior Harrison Hartzler scored one. The varsity boys will play at home against Maur Hill-Mount Academy on Thursday.
