Lawrence is a place filled with cuisine wonders, from Asian to Mexican. But, sadly, we seem to have a lack of true culinary elegance: Italian food. But look no further; we have finally gotten a restaurant to fit all our pasta-loving needs: Olive Garden.
This restaurant serves food for all to enjoy. From its iconic bread sticks topped with butter to its very own Tour of Italy (a three-in-one dish including chicken parmesan, Lasagna Classico and the best pasta known to mankind: fettuccine alfredo), Olive Garden never fails.
Located at 21st and Iowa Street at the KU crossing, Olive Garden is also very close to campus, making it very accessible to the college students attending KU. Their meals are priced between 17 to 30 dollars.
Not only is their Italian food good, but they also have other dishes like petite sirloin or salmon, and they also have amazing soups to try. The restaurant also has such a good vibe, as if you just teleported into Italy.
If at this point in this article you are still not convinced, I have even more to amaze you about this establishment. I went there this week, just to see if the service was as good as the food, and it went beyond my expectations. My waiter was so kind and thoughtful; she was always refilling our drinks without being asked. She also gave us recommendations about what to eat, and let me just say, we had no leftovers.
Overall, I really think that this is not just a restaurant but also an experience. It’s filled with great food and service. I would recommend this to every person I would ever meet, and therefore, I am going to give it a definite five-anchor review. So, next time you want to have a nice dinner, go hop on down to Olive Garden.
